Edited by: Michael Zign on 30/12/2010 02:06:22 Edited by: Michael Zign on 30/12/2010 02:05:16 I have recently opened a complaint to the UK gambling commission and have started proceedings against CCP over EVE on-line in the UK small claims courts.
My complaint is that CCP charges money for a gambling platform that is both corrupt and unfair.
I always wondered why eve has been so persistent in punishing isk sellers and not so bothered about bots and exploiters.
Well the reason is they are **** scared of various regions gaming commissions.
Well hopefully I'm about to ruin them as I've just sold ISK on several accounts proving that Eve online is a capable gambling platform.
As CCP does not own a book makers licence they are operating within the UK illegally.
I was able to wager several pounds sterling on CCP programs and then withdraw both earnings and loss from various accounts.
If any other players wish to join me in legal action please reply to this thread. Also if there are any legal specialists that think there is a just cause for legal action I would like to here from you. If this post is deleted don't worry as I will create another 1 shortly.

If you're from the UK and would like to make a complaint please do so here. You'll have to write to CCP first but as they've not responded to my written complaint you can take it further by following these guidelines.
http://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/gh-contact_us/complaints/how_do_i_complain_about_a_gamb.aspx
I'm also making a complaint through the financial ombudsman service.

I wonder how much a company like CCP spends on legal consulting in a tax year anyways. I bet its lots.
Bah, small claims tribunal is free and I've got a day off to waste so I've nothing to lose.

Scan of all relevant official documents confirming actual involvement of the courts or STFU.

CCP Games UK
This is the address I sent the written complaint to. It's been 14 days but maybe because of the holiday I should give them some extra time to respond?
The gaming commission states that they must reply within 14 days and the financial ombudsman service states they have 31 working days. Well I will wait 31 working days before submitting the written request to the claims courts.
If any one wishes to join me please reply and we can talk about joint action but first you should write to CCP.

So why is EVE CCP so paranoid about real money transactions when I have proof that they make it easily accessible.
It's like saying ''thou shalt not murder'' then going on a murder rampage.
Eve online is a dangerous gambling phenomena that should be under the regulation of the gambling commission. CCP have deliberately mislead both the public and the authority on the true nature of their product 'Eve online'.
EVE online allows the wagering of real life currency across its software and as such should be registered with the gaming commission.

Well CCP I'm waiting for my letter through the door or do you just refuse to return written complaints?
